THE ROOFTOP, CAUSEWAY BAY

The owner strives for tranquillity and his fondness of a sky concept is the main theme of this apartment design. The theme and colour tone reinforce the airy, comfortable atmosphere of the apartment, no matter how compact. Along with natural light that flows in from the large windows, the blending of white, blue and grey colours dominate the apartment, creating a comfy, warm atmosphere.

The custom-made cabinet set across (surrounds) the living room not only helps to magnify storage space, it also allows the creation of a classy apartment by exhibiting accessories or collection, flexible for future additions and embellishments, which represents own style and personality.Given the location of existing windows, the designer took advantage of this by aligning the different areas of the apartment and its furniture, in order to draw as much natural light into the apartment as possible, which not only lightens up the living room and bedroom areas, but also the workspace.

The sleeping area is separated from the living area by a raised platform and a large glass partition, without the use of concrete walls the apartment space can be maximised visually.The use of a darker wooden flooring helps differentiate the two spaces yet echos each other by using the same material.
